POLICIES
1. Shipping Methods & Rates
We offer multiple shipping options to meet your delivery needs. Shipping costs are typically calculated at checkout, based on important factors such as your location, the package weight and dimensions, the content of the package, etc.
Freight Shipping
Large or multiple items require freight shipping. With our carriers, we provide LTL shipping on pallets, tailgate services if needed, residential delivery options and custom freight quotes for commercial consignees. Note that residential deliveries are typically charged more by most carriers. We recommend contacting the assigned carrier for your delivery for more information
2. Delivery Time Frame
Delivery times are estimated from the date your order is being shipped, not the order date.
Processing time (that is, time between the order date and the shipping date), varies by product availability.
Freight: 7-14 business days (under Domestic) and 14-28 business days (under International).
Important Note:
Delivery times are subject to variation due to conditions such as weather, holidays, customs delays or issues from the carrier’s services beyond our control. For the latter, we recommend contacting the assigned carrier for your delivery for more information.
3. Geographic Coverage
North America Shipping
We ship across all 50 United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), all Canadian provinces and territories, Mexico, and military APO/FPO addresses. For shipping in US territories such as Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and Guam, please contact our customer service.
International Shipping
We offer international shipping to many countries and regions worldwide, including the UK, the EU, the UAE, Australia, New Zealand, and 150+ more. International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and fees (Incoterm DDU/DAP). International customers may also choose to have their goods under Incoterm EXW. 4. Free Shipping Eligibility
Free Standard Shipping
Customer can enjoy free standard shipping under certain conditions:
- Orders over $99 (North America delivery addresses only)
- Business accounts with annual volume discounts
- Loyalty program members (Gold tier +)
- During promotional campaigns and special offers
Free shipping does not apply to oversized or overweight items that typically require freight shipping. Express, expedite, and overnight shipping methods as well as international destinations are not subject to free shipping. Additionally, if the assigned carriers flag the destination as remote or rural with surcharges, the free shipping policy will not apply.
5. Order Processing
Order processing can always vary, depending on product availability in warehouses.
Order Verification
For your security, we may contact you to verify large orders or orders with incorrect or mismatching billing and shipping addresses. If our POS provider flags a transaction as fraudulent or incomplete, we may request proof of identity or any other information or documents required to confirm the validity of the transaction.
Processing Schedule
Orders are typically processed from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Order processing is limited, or may not occur, outside of business hours, namely on Saturdays, Sundays, and statutory holidays observed in the Province of Québec.
6. Packaging & Handling
Professional Packaging Standard
All orders are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery with protective packaging materials, padding, moisture protection, secure wrapping, etc. For fragile items, clear labeling and handling instructions are included for carriers to handle with care.
7. Tracking & Delivery
Order Tracking
All tracking information, such as carrier information, tracking number, and estimated delivery date, will be sent to your email once your order is shipped.
Delivery Requirements
Commercial addresses typically receive faster service from most carriers. On the other hand, depending on the assigned carrier, some residential delivery may require an appointment schedule. We recommend contacting them directly with your tracking number as reference.
For packages deemed high value (generally exceeding $500), an adult signature is required upon delivery. The customer is responsible for designating the recipient at the time of purchase, and the name provided shall be deemed the authorized signee. KABAIR shall not be held liable for any loss, delay, or misdelivery resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrect recipient information supplied by the customer
8. Special Item Shipping
Hazardous Materials & Oversized Items
Certain products, including but not limited to batteries, fluids, compressed gases, aerosols, products containing lithium, chemical products, and adhesives, are typically classified as hazardous and may require special handling. Additionally, large items or orders, such as solar panels, refrigeration systems, or other bulky merchandise, may necessitate special shipping arrangements. Customers acknowledge that carriers may impose additional charges for such handling, for which the customer shall be responsible.
9. International Shipping
Customs & Duties
International customers (i.e., those not residing in North America) are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and fees in accordance with Incoterm DDU/DAP. Customers are also responsible for obtaining any required import permits or licenses and for accurately declaring the contents and value of shipments to customs authorities. Customers further warrant that they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the importation of goods into their jurisdiction. Customers who wish to place an order under Incoterm EXW must contact Customer Service prior to completing their order.

10. Shipping Restrictions
Geographic Restrictions
KABAIR cannot ship to certain locations, namely countries under trade embargo, areas affected by natural disasters, remote locations without carrier service and high-risk security zones.
Product Restrictions
Certain items are subject to shipping restrictions, including but not limited to products that exceed carrier weight limits, require special permits (e.g., R-134a), or are classified as highly fragile. In the event that any of the products ordered fall under such restrictions, the customer will be notified, and shipping arrangements will be made in compliance with applicable regulations. Should compliant shipping not be feasible, KABAIR reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a
refund.
11. Price Changes
All prices, charges, and quotations provided by the company are indicative only and may be subject to change.
The company reserves the right to adjust prices during the order processing period; however, any adjustment will only be applied after providing prior notice to the client.
The client must approve any price adjustment before the order can proceed.
Price adjustments may occur due to, but are not limited to:

12. Warranty and Returns
At Kabair, all our refrigeration, heating, air-conditioning, and energy solutions are covered by a standard warranty against material and manufacturing defects.

Warranty period: 12 months from the date of invoicing or as recommended by the manufacturer.

What is covered: defective parts and manufacturing defects.

What is not covered: wear parts, consumables, improper use, unauthorized modifications, incorrect installation, or accidents.
For any warranty claim, the product must be returned or presented to an authorized center for evaluation.
13. Return / Refund Policy

Returns are only accepted for new, uninstalled products within 30 days of the invoice date.

The product must be in its original, complete packaging and ready for resale.

A restocking fee may apply to cover logistical and replenishment costs.

Any product that has been installed, used, or modified will not be accepted for return.
After 30 days, standard returns will not be accepted, except in cases approved at Kabair’s discretion.
