Benefits of the Airtronic S2 Include;

• Stepless heating performance control. This allows for a more dynamic heat output, that automatically modulates to maintain required temperature. The new “Stepless output control” has also improved the operating sound of the Airtronic S2.
• Noise levels optimised. The new AS2 Kit also includes the new, almost silent, Eberspacher digital fuel dosing pump with mechanical damping ring and intelligent current control.
• Low maintenance. The new Airtronic 3 motor has an potential service life of 5000 hours. Of course this depends on installation and how the unit is used. It is advised you have your Eberspacher serviced annually to ensure your heater is working as efficiently as possible!
• Automatic Altitude Adjustment. Altitude adjustment will be automatically handled by the Eberspacher Airtronic 3 up to 3000m above sea level; no additional altitude kit is required, the AS3 has an integrated altitude sensor.
• OBD On-board diagnostics (applicable when using the EasyStart PRO). Fault display via the Easy Start PRO. The Airtronic S2 coupled with an Easy Start PRO will give a text-based fault description, reducing confusion and saving time diagnosing the issue.
• CAN, LIN & S+. The new Airtronic S2 includes Eberspacher CAN bus technology, giving users the opportunity to operate the unit via CAN-based controllers like the EasyStart PRO and EasyStart Web.
  The EasyStart PRO has many advantages including, Timers, Text-based fault readouts and external temperature sensing. The LIN interface is for previous generation EasyStart Controllers like the EasyStart Remote+ and EasyStart Select. The S+ interface can be used when the user wants to use a mini-controller or other Eberspacher analog switching source.
